He spent his summers growing up in Northern Michigan where he became best summer friends with Annie. After graduation Bobby spent that summer touring Europe with his High School girl friend Megan. After his girl friend dumped him for his best friend, he went back to the summer house, where he saw Annie. What a difference a year makes! She went from pony tails and pig tails to magazine cover looks.After the death of her adoptive father she broke up with Bobby and broke his heart, making him swear off having another girl friend until after he graduated from college. Sitting in the cafeteria at college another student sat down at his table, and introduced herself to him, saying it looked like he could use a friend. it took some time before he succumbed to her seductive blue eyes. Her features looked somewhat familiar, but he couldn't make the connection. When she walked away he noticed she had a slight limp.

Rodney Sugden has no recollection of the event himself, but by all accounts it happened in Saginaw, Michigan in April 1949, where he greeted the world.Struggling with ADD Rod has never been a reader or a writer, but after a couple of mini strokes, he knew he needed to protect his thoughts and speech abilities from deteriorating anymore. His thought, what would be the best way to exercise and stimulate, his brain, that's when he sat down at the key board, and wrote a book. After struggling through his first book, it seemed to improve his cognitive abilities, the second book was at his finger tips as they crossed the keyboard words appeared on the screen.Rod has come to grips with the fact that he will never regain 100% of his cognitive abilities. One positive thing came out of having the strokes, his ADD seems to have subsided some.
