In this book , we present a method to find a complete fingerprint given a part of it and reconstruct the partial fingerprint and match it with a complete fingerprint using genetic algorithm based on the minutia template that belongs to the original fingerprint. and developed a GA technique to improve deformed fingerprints identity verification in a given image that may be corrupted by noise. Also we have developed an algorithm for reconstructing fingerprint images from a minutiae template.

R.F.Mansour received the M.Sc. in CS in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Assiut in 2009, He is a Lecturer at Department of Computer Science and Mathematics, Faculty of Education, New Valley, Assiut University, Egypt. His research interests include Pattern Recognition, Computer Vision, Computer Networks and Image Processing.
