At a time when nearly one out of two marriages in the United States end in divorce, it is little wonder that society views long-lasting marriages as an almost impossible undertaking. This book gives the reader nuggets of wisdom, hope and spiritual inspiration from what amounts to over six hundred years of marriage from twelve couples, each married over fifty years. The couples share their heartfelt joys, sorrows, and homespun wisdom, along with their faithful examples of perseverance and fidelity to the sacrament of marriage.
