Adi seems to be successful. He comes from a middle class Indian family and graduated with honors. Like his countless peers, he could see no career alternative other than working for a prestigious software company. But Adi feels trapped. The robotic routine of commuting and work is grinding him down. His own relief comes from time spent with his thoughtful girlfriend Nandini. When a friend's death brings his life into sharp focus, Adi feels the need of change in his life. Leaving work and family behind, he embarks upon a spontaneous journey, his only plan to eventually reach distant Kashmir. Along the way, Adi encounters mysterious guy Shiva who opens his eyes to a different life. THe two continue on to Kashmir together and the young traveler soon finds himself sleeping below the stars, appreciating the beauty of nature, taking unlikely jobs and socializing with slum-dwellers. And when the pair rescue a women desperately in need, he finds that his entire view of the life is changing. Returning eventually to Nandini, Adi realizes that he has changed too. Who is Shiva?
