"Chucky The Car" is a simple and expressive story about a car whose life was deteriorating until one day a "fine, old gentleman" saved him from the junk yard. Chucky was given a new home, love, caring, and a new life. The story shares two negative encounters with a "local bully"; a smart sports car. Chucky's determination to be strong in his beliefs, his now newfound life is willing to overlook the faults of others. The story ends when the smart sports car and Chucky become friends. Words associated with the illustrations are printed on each page to allow the reader to relate them with the particular scene. Opportunities abound throughout the story for one to learn about harmony, love, happiness, friendship, achievement and many other positive attributes one learns during their life. As the pages are turned, the reader experiences reading words of the story and seeing the illustrations relating to positive words and through coloration of the illustrations, one can express their own feelings about Chucky's wonderful experiences.
