Rachel lives on the High Plains of Colorado with her husband, daughter, and three furry "sons" (one dog and two cats). She enjoys the beauty, depth, and humor of life all around her. She and her family are often greatly entertained and amused by the wonder of the natural world they are surrounded by and love to tell creative and silly stories inspired by this setting. She is a passionate educator and egalitarian. One of her greatest desires is to influence those her life touches with an enhanced and enriched awareness and appreciation for the richness of life through history, culture, and God's Creation - expressed through the diversity of our world. It is through this passion and love for people and the written word that she aims to contribute works that bring knowledge, compassion, patience, kindness, humor, beauty, and victory out of tragedy to her audiences. After all, such are the things that make a life. Rachel credits her love of the written word to her Creator, the wonder, richness, value, and appreciation of her life to her Saviour, and all her life's fulfillment through her family to the Almighty. She is forever grateful to her husband who has never doubted her and always encouraged, inspired, and faithfully loved her.
