Rachel and Shannon are first cousins, born and raised in West Auckland, New Zealand. There are a few cousins. The families would spend time with their grandparents in the Northlands of New Zealand. Rachel trained at Elam School of Fine Arts. She is a painter; having arranged successful exhibitions in Auckland. She is an avid reader; which lead to the writing of small books like; The Dragon and the Boy. Shannon trained at Natcoll Design Technology which was based in Te Wananga O Aotearoa. He completed the Graphic Design and Multimedia certificates. An assignment required Shannon to place images to text. The result is; The Dragon and the Boy.
