This study assesses the impacts of climate change to the communities of Kulekhani Watershed Area in Central Nepal through participatory tools and techniques. The local climatic hazards in the area are drought, landslide, flood, and untimely rainfall. Among the climatic hazards, the recurrent drought was found to be the most deterring factor affecting agriculture production, water resources and livelihood of the people living in the watershed area. This study is the supportive document for the government initiation in climate change sector i.e. LAPA program.

I was born in Chitlang, Makwanpur. I have completed Master's in Environmental Science. I have worked as consultant and environmentalist in different organizations. I have more than five years experience in the sector. I worked as the Environmental Journalist. I am working in KIRDARC as the Theme Leader of DRR and CCA in Karnali Region of Nepal.
