What was the worst day you have ever lived? For me, it was the day I had to tell a family that their dad had been killed while turkey hunting. Or maybe it was the day my doctor spoke the word cancer in my direction. Have you ever felt lost? I was once lost in a foreign city of over twelve million people where I couldn't speak the language. Have you ever been knocked flat on your back? One day, that happened to me repeatedly. Ever been blindsided? Me too--both in a car and in life. But I think they all hit me simultaneously the day a perplexed doctor looked at me and said, "This is the worst case I have ever seen!" I'm not trying to compare trials and scars but to simply testify that God has walked with me and sustained me every step of my journey. And what He does for one, He is willing and able to do for another. This book is full of praise to God for how He brought my wife and me through some extremely hard times, including shoulder impingement, prostate cancer, lean finances, five surgeries within two years' time, and much more.
