Majority of the respondents had favourable attitude towards eco-friendly management practices of mango. The mango growers faced the social, economic, technological, situational, market oriented, infrastructural constraints, governmental policy and climate related constraints. There is great demand for these eco-friendly practices to be given to fruit growers in a package form. Effective linkage between research and extension and orchardist will help innotifying this aspect. A micro level critical study on information system for eco-friendly mango plantation can be conducted in Konkan region.

Dr. Ranjit P. Mahadik is presently working as SMS, KVK, Roha of Dr. B. S.Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli, Dist. Ratnagiri He has 20 years of experience of teaching, research and extension. He completed his Ph.D. with gold medal in MPUAT, Udaipur (Rajasthan). He completed 30 extension research projects, authored one book, 40 research articles.
