Poor quality information can not have significant social and business impacts. Most corporate firms have experienced the adverse effects of decisions based on information of inferior quality. In brief, the challenges of information technology are to provide accurate information that can be used in making decisions while running the business. Therefore, quality financial information are the most significant issue for the manufacturing firms in developing countries like Bangladesh. These have become important for corporate firms that want to perform well, obtain competitive advantage or even just survive in the 21st century. Our research group have developed some important variables to critically evaluate the implications of the financial information on the major financial decisions in some selected listed private sector firms in Bangladesh.
