The result showed that educational level, slope of farmland, plot distance, livestock holding, off-farm activities, land tenure security system, training, extension support, perception of farmers` about soil erosion as a problem, and their attitude to conservation technologies were found to be significant in influencing farmers` adoption of soil conservation practices. The book could be useful to professional researchers, development agents, soil conservation experts in the governmental and non-governmental organizations.
Autorenporträt
The author was born in Ethiopia on October 21, 1980. He attended his education at Pawi elementary and secondary school from September 1987 up to March 1999. He joined Bahir Dar University in September 1999 and in February 2010 and graduated with B. Ed and M.A. Degrees in Geography respectively. Now, he is working in SOS Herman Gmiener School.
