In additon to these biochemical studies, the yield and yield components has also been anlysed for salicylic acid treated pea plants. Ghulam Murtaza obtained Ph.D.(2006)Degree in Botany from University of Arid Agriculture, Pakistan and Post-Doc from Leicester University, UK.Currently Dr. Murtaza is working as Associate Prof./Chairman, Botany,University of A J & K, Pakistan.He has published several research papers in various Journals and received Research Productivity Award(2011).
