The remote mountain town of Shy Moon Lake looks like just the place for Jess to begin a new life with her young son and brand-new husband. But the ghosts of the past are persistent, especially for a woman burdened with a photographic memory. Buried secrets, the scars of abandonment, the nightmares of rejection, are not long forgotten or easily ignored.
