Autorenporträt
Reponsal Perkins is a Christian and a Evangelist and founder of Jesus Christ New Life Ministry outreach. Her vision is unity and peace and sharing her stories with the world as an author and illustrator. She love writing children's books. She writes a range of genres of multicultural, religious stories, poetry and women's and men's literature. Her Faith is in God. She loves to enrich peoples' lives through Health and Wellness, evangelizing, edifying through mission work in ministry, and teaching through Bible studying. Reponsal has worked with children and adults who have dealt with disabilities. Her works also have consisted of addressing the needs of people of color disproportionately treated during the COVID-19 pandemic; how they are impacted within this sociology-economic group; and how they can get well again despite any experiences of marginalization and disadvantages of society within today's global world. As one of the co-authors of the book, Will the Sun Come Out. Reponsal found inspiration through the Holy Spirit in creating this book, always with people in mind who have disabilities. Reponsal's family is also very important to her. When she is not reading her daily Bible; studying discipleship; or working on Master Life Ministries (a plan in the rebuilding of generations through ministry), she can usually be found at the library reading a good children's book with her grandchild and searching for good southern dessert recipes with her daughter Yvette. Stay tuned, as she has also written over six new children's books which are to be published soon. Through Christian faith, there was graceful help through Jocelyn and Jacqueline sisters of Faith. "Through one's faith, we can all be true believers in ourselves through our faith in God." Jacqueline Patterson is a loving mother and grandmother, a devoted wife; and above all else, a true lover and follower of Jesus Christ. Jacqueline was raised in church as a young child, and throughout her life she has been devoted to His will. She is active in church and is a missionary for the Lord. If she is not at church or working in the community, she is home spending time with her family. Jacqueline has always had a niche for writing. For years, she would create stories within her mind; and one by one would meticulously piece those stories together. However, she never really had the time to put those amazing stories on paper, until now with the encouragement from her husband who always stayed on her about, "When you going to write that book?" Jacqueline's deep passion is how to create a world of peace when shaping children's books while using a lens to reflect brown and black people. She vows to contribute children's books to help end domestic and sexual violence, as well as ending world hunger by writing one book at a time. She shared her goal one evening in a conversation with her younger sister, Dr. Jocelyn Enabulele, about someday writing a Christian-based kids' book. By the grace of God and with Jocelyn's help, along with the help of her sister, Reponsal Perkins, Will the Sun Come Out, came about. "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
