A study was carried out with specific objectives to study the existing awareness and utilization of lemon products among rural women, to design, implement and assess the impact of intervention programme for adoption of lemon products and to identify the constraints in adoption of lemon products. The present study is job-oriented for women by exploring the lemon based preserving technologies in rural areas. An attempt has been made to assess the impact of intervention programme for adoption of lemon products among rural women. Intervention programme is based on needs of rural women and it is economically feasible. The findings of study will be important for providing guideline to planners, policy-makers, programmers for making use of preserving technologies of lemon products.
