This book entitled "Genetic diversity assessment in mango ginger (Curcuma amada Roxb.)" presents the investigation that was carried out at the Research Farm, Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari (Gujarat) during the kharif-2018. The experimental materials comprised of thirty different genotypes which were grown in randomized block design in three replications. The basic objective of the experiment was to assess the extent of morphological and molecular variation in the available mango ginger germplasm, which will serve as base for future mango ginger improvement programmes. Twelve different quantitative characters related to rhizome yield were recorded and subjected for estimation of genetic variability, correlations, path analysis and molecular diversity analysis using SSR and RAPD markers.
