DISPATCHES FROM THE CAMPUS WAR AGAINST ISRAEL & JEWS is a collection of essays exploring the alarming, and ever-worsening, phenomenon of Israel-hatred and covert anti-Semitism on college campuses. Fomented by such radical student groups as Students for Justice in Palestine and faculty who promote academic and economic boycotts, fueled by Saudi dollars and politicized scholarship in Middle East studies departments, and abetted by leftist professors with an obsessive enmity for the continued existence of the Jewish state, the new anti-Semitism-parading as anti-Zionism-poses dangerous threats to Israel's standing in the world community. A Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under the Law Anti-Semitism Report revealed that "more than half of 1,157 self-identified Jewish students at 55 campuses nationwide in a survey reported having experienced or witnessed anti-Semitism on their campuses . .," and, in fact, anti-Zionist activity is highly correlated with anti-Semitic targeting of Jewish students. Anti-Semitic vandalism and activism-targeting Jewish students-has been regularly documented on campuses like Stanford, Emory, DePaul, Berkeley, UCLA, and Yale.
