Autorenporträt
Raised in an entrepreneur family, Richard learned to find opportunities, solve problems and implement solutions from an early age. It didn't take long for him to discover that he loved investing in the success of others. By his late twenties this had become the hallmark of all his personal and business relationships. His cross-industry experience has made him a proven expert, one who has worked with a big four consulting firm (PricewaterhouseCoopers), top tier corporations, mid-level enterprises, and small business leaders from around the world. In 2004, Richard left the corporate world to form a BraveWorld-a company dedicated to working with business leaders and their teams to help them become successful in their businesses. After graduating from the University of Manitoba in Sociology and Economics, his love of teaching and mentoring brought him back to the university world, where he pioneered two successful programs at Mount Royal University, Calgary, Alberta: Project Management in 1998 and Business Analysis in 2005. By 2010, he received the University's Distinguished Teaching Award for his contribution to the overwhelming success of those programs in the business community. That same year he was honoured to receive a Business Recognition Award for his work with entrepreneurs and business enterprises in strategic planning and leadership development. Richard's research, writing and speaking revolves around what it takes to be S.E.T. for Success in business. In 2014, he became the voice and producer of S.E.T. for Success at 680CJOB as part of the Corus Radio Network, where he interviews business leaders on what it takes to be successful in business, career and life. He is the voice for the Tuesday Business Tips on the All News Drive at 680CJOB as well. His thought leadership and edgy ideas have been featured in traditional and social media, on-line publications and over the airwaves throughout the world. As a strategist, Richard employs a unique framework to help organization's unravel complex issues, make better decisions and establish a common direction. Business author, speaker, coach, and cheerleader, Richard guides you to renewed hope, a bigger vision, and a realistic, actionable roadmap as the means to your business success.
