Dr. Bob Ayres, who is the founder of Deaf Teen Quest (Youth For Christ USA) along with his wife Kathy, is ordained as clergy in the Anglican Church of North America and serves on staff in his local parish. Following seminary, his career included teaching, community organization, and non-profit leadership. Dr. Ayres is the author of Deaf Diaspora: The Third Wave of Deaf Ministry which is a foundational textbook in several Deaf Ministry training programs.Dr. Rick McClain, Instructor/Bible translator for ASLV with Deaf Missions (Iowa) and Deaf Ministry Consultant, was ordained as a Nazarene pastor in 1987. Dr. McClain, is a nationally renowned Deaf scholar, pastor, and educator and attended Gallaudet University for his undergraduate degree. Following seminary, his career included serving as the VP of Academic Affairs of Deaf Online University, teaching, and pastoring.Chad Entinger is the CEO of Deaf Missions, known for translating/producing the Old and New Testaments of the Bible into American Sign Language. Chad was mainstreamed during his elementary and junior high years, attended high school at the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf (MSAD) and graduated from Gallaudet University with both Bachelor and Master degrees.
