My name is Ryan Degg and The Inferiority Complex is my debut novel. I hope you have as much fun reading it (minus the stress, of course) as I did writing it. A little about myself - I grew up in my home city of Stoke-on-Trent, England, and still live here today with my wife, Leah-Marie. I'm a huge sports fan, particularly football (Arsenal FC) and darts. I love to travel and have visited some of the most amazing cities & countries on Earth (see Instagram for more). My academic interests include History, Geography, Art, Science and, generally, General Knowledge. How I began writing - It all started in 2011. While on holiday with my girlfriend (now wife), I rekindled my love for reading. Having not read a novel in many years, I decided to buy Dan Brown's Angels & Demons from the airport while waiting for our flight. It was a decision that changed my life. A couple of days in and probably only a quarter of the way through this brilliant novel, I had an epiphany. It hit me with such force and such clarity. I'd never been so certain of anything: I was going to become an author. It took a while before I was ready to start writing, much longer than I had hoped, but, since that day, I haven't looked back. www.ryandegg.com
