Wayne Moniz has penned 14 plays, two books of short stories - "Under Maui Skies and Other Stories" and "Beyond the Reef: Stories of Maui in the World" and a novel, "Pukoko: A Hawaiian in the American Civil War." He is a holder of the Cades Award, Hawaii's most honored writing prize for his body of work.
