Autorenporträt
Asad R. Rahmani is currently Director of Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS). He has written more than 100 research papers for national and international journals, five books, and numerous popular articles and book reviews. He is Principal Investigator of many prestigious projects of the BNHS, including the Important Bird Area (IBA) Programme of BirdLife International and BNHS. He is the Executive Editor of the Journal of the BNHS and Editor of Hornbill and Mistnet. Zafar-ul Islam is a Field Biologist in International Wildlife Conservation. His primary research areas include ecology and biology of globally threatened species such as Houbara, Arabian Leopard, Arabian Oryx, Sand and Mountain Gazelles, and threatened birds found in India.
