Dr. Shaaban obtained his PhD in Bioorganic Chemistry from the University of Saarland, in 2011. He spent time as a Postdoc with Prof. Doemling at Groningen University and with Prof Wessjohann at Leibniz Institute of Plant Biochemistry. Dr. Shaaban has a particular interest in the chemistry underlying biochemical redox events.
