Wakiatiiosta Davona Lee Sharrow is a Kanienkehaka Native American raised on the Akwesasne Reservation in Northern New York. After high school she took time to raise her four children and decided to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. She is an owner of a small business where she sells beaded jewelry. Over the years she has taken part in demonstrations promoting peace and unity for native people across the nation. Writing continues to be her passion.
