The aim of this project is to identify those potential locations for the purpose of hydropower energy generation and then present hydraulic design for these locations on River Swat. This is then used as means of extracting useful energy from available runoff of water while keeping environmental and regional safety in mind. The project is containing the following phases: The first phase is identification of site which is based on the characteristics of river that is topography, hydrology slope, cross sectional area, depth of water, discharge rate etc. The second phase involves the collection of actual data from field investigation. Gauge station are established to determine hydraulic parameter that is discharge rate, depth of water, cross sectional area and this data is then used for hydraulic design. The third phase includes the calculation of different forces on the hydraulic structure and its stability analysis.

I graduated from University of Engineering and Technology(UET) Peshawar KP, Pakistan, as B.Sc. Civil Engineer in 2014. I worked as Research/Teaching Assistant for 1 Year at UET with Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Fahad and Associate Professor Dr. Khan Shahzada Khan, Dr. Amjad Naseer and Dr. Naveed Ahmad.
