Autorenporträt

Wally Moran has been cruising and living aboard his 34 foot Dufour sailboat, Gypsy Wind, for the past 15 years. His constant companion, Aduana, is a pup he rescued from Varadero, Cuba. A Canadian from Northern Ontario, Wally now spends his life staying away from the cold weather, traveling to Cuba, and the Bahamas in search of sunshine, warm weather, and lobster. A well-known writer, Wally is a regular contributor to Cruising World and was a former Contributing Editor for Sail for 11 years, and a long time Cruising Editor with Waterway Guide. He also moderates the Sailing and Cruising Facebook page, and has a well-known blog, www.BloggingtheICW.blogspot.com. Five years ago, Wally lead the first ICW Snowbird Rally, since renamed to the Sail to the Sun ICW Rally. Considered the most fun one can have on the ICW, it has also been suggested that Sail to the Sun is actually a two-month floating party. While Wally has written extensively over the years for various magazines, The UN-ADULT A-RATED Wally is his first book.
