The unlikely duo form an immediate friendship when they investigate the disappearance of a fellow resident's family heirloom. This seemingly trivial incident leads them into a web of lies, thefts, infidelity and murder. Can Meg use all of her knowledge and experience as the widow of DCI Grant Thornton to help solve this case? Can Lauren's youth and enthusiasm contribute to the perfect partnership?
