I started to dig a little deeper into this word and the verses preceding it. Why did the writer put this word there? How can I apply it to today? As I share the Selah verses, take the psalmist's cue and stop, pause, and listen to what the Spirit is saying. Let your heart be turned to worship of the Most High God. "This is the person who seeks him, who searches for the face of the God of Jacob. Selah" (Psalm 24:6) Wendy Miller Bartsch was born and raised in New Jersey. She spent her early years in Northern BC Canada serving in missions and raising her children. Numerous moves and life challenges deepened her faith and trust in God. With a heart after God, she has led worship teams, serving where God plants her. Always looking for a creative challenge, she started writing devotionals and posting them to Facebook. With much encouragement from family and friends a book was created. She now resides in Fort St John, BC with her husband. Together they have six children, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
