Wesam Ibrahim is a lecturer in the Faculty of Education, Tanta University, Egypt. She holds a BA in English Language (1996); a BA in English Language and Literature (1998); an MA in Linguistics (2003); and a PhD in Linguistics (2010, Lancaster University, UK). Her academic interests are in Cognitive Stylistics, Corpus Linguistics and Metaphor.
