We can invite Pentecost into our lives, on a regular basis. This short prayer guide focuses on key Scripture passages from Luke and Acts that show the Holy Spirit in action. Over 10 days, we'll use these passages to meditate on what the Holy Spirit has done and ask the Spirit to do the same things among us today. In each passage, we see who the Spirit is or what the Spirit does. The prayers will show us how the Holy Spirit incarnated Jesus and empowered his ministry and resurrection, then came to dwell with his disciples and bring God's presence among us. Each guide also includes space to reflect with God so that we don't miss what he wants us to carry away with us from these prayers.

Brock Bingaman is the founding director of All Saints Center for Theology, Spirituality, and Leadership at Our Lord's Community Church in Oklahoma City, where he also serves as lead pastor. Formerly, Brock served as Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. His books include All Things New: The Trinitarian Nature of the Human Calling in Maximus the Confessor and Jurgen Moltmann (2014); and The Philokalia: A Classic Text of Orthodox Spirituality (2012) (edited with Bradley Nassif).
