William Mills Todd III, Professor in the Department of Slavic Studies, Harvard University, is the author of works on the history and sociology of Russian literature of the nineteenth century. Todd's books have been translated into Russian, including within the series "Contemporary Western Rusistika" (Literature and Society in the Pushkin Epoch, 1996).
