In the process, the reader learns: How to program in C, the language underlying the most commonly used programming languages; How to identify and use common electronic components and sensors; How to perform electronics-specific tasks, such as creating a circuit board; How to construct, program, communicate with, and control robotic devices, including servos, LEDs, DC motors, infrared communicators, push buttons, potentiometers, NeoPixels, and H-bridges. William P. Osborne holds a BSEE and a master's degree in teaching from Seattle University and an MBA and an MS from Stanford University. His career has included consulting to technology manufacturers, running a small software company, and ten years at the Microsoft Corporation, primarily in the Windows operating system division. He teaches computer science and engineering at a public high school.
