Autorenporträt
Tom Pallant was born in 1928 in the mining village of Langwith on the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire border. Entering the industry as a draughtsman, he later joined the newly formed NCB as a mechanical engineer until his retirement. He and his wife Barbara were happily married for 60 years until she passed away in 2010. They had two sons Paul and Simon; he sadly lost Paul to cancer in 2013. He re-married at 83 to Cynthia, but she passed on soon afterwards. Now, in his 92nd year and in excellent health, he is living independently in a contemplative and relaxed style.
