Tauese is a prolific speaker and teacher of the word of God and has been in ministry since 1974 serving as both a Pastor and a Missionary in the Pacific region. He was born in Pitonuu Satupaitea Savai'i Samoa. His biological father was born in Papua New Guinea where his grandparents served as Missionaries from 1880 - 1952 under the Methodist Mission. Tauese relocated to New Zealand in 1970 and lived in Petone before moving to a small town called Levin with his adopted parents Pastor Makisua and Mauosamoa Fatialofa. They started Door of Faith Church evangelising among the Maori people in rural areas. He went on to study at New Life Family Bible College Christchurch in 1972-1973 At the completion of bible college, he established a church in Invercargill. When his father passed away in 1977, he served as a Pastor under the Samon AOG and was later elected the leader of the Christ Ambassador program for the national body in 1978 until 2003. Following a prophecy delivered by a Prophet from Singapore, it was revealed that his chapter of pastoral work in New Zealand had reached its conclusion, signalling the onset of his calling as a missionary. His first mission took place in Torres Strait between 2006 and 2009. He extended his efforts to Papua New Guinea, including the northern region of Solomon Island in the Boganville area, spanning from 2010 to 2020. Presently, he resides in Queensland, Australia alongside his wife, Seiafi, and is blessed with six children and twelve grandchildren. His current focus has shifted towards writing resources that impart and equip the next generation from his 49 years of ministry.
