Tarik K. Montoro was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1980. The son of an immigrant father and a Spanish mother, he grew up in one of the humblest neighborhoods in Madrid. After finishing high school, combined part time jobs and volunteered doing humanitarian work while studying for the civil service exam. Today Tarik is an officer in Spain¿s National Police force, a job he has enthusiastically carried out for more than a decade. The author's professional experience and passion for literature have given him the ability to create unconventional action-packed stories; he imbues everything he writes with a mystical and emotional perspective.
