Autorenporträt
Teresa Morris Scott currently lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband, Russell Scott. She grew up in Utah as the fifth child in a family of seven children. She and her siblings were close in age but, more importantly, were thick as thieves and close comrades. They spent hours together with their imaginations and played pretend at home and on many family camping trips. Her father loved film and created various home movies with plots, characters, and costumes. Teresa and Russell have four children of their own who were raised to embrace their creativity and imagination. Teresa loves to escape reality and explore the endless possibilities of imagination. Over the years, Teresa began writing down some of the thoughts she remembered entertaining as a child, eventually putting them into poetry. Another large part of Teresa's life was music and performance. The Morris Family participated in family choirs, bands, shows, and neighborhood caroling. Teresa would sing to her children every day, and loved to create songs like the action song "Imagine" at the end of her book "My Childish Thoughts."
