Teri Gavin-Jones is a specialist midwife in parent education for Colchester Hospital University Foundation Trust. Teri trained with and taught for the National Childbirth Trust as an antenatal teacher for ten years. She is an active birth teacher and water birth specialist. She undertakes monthly midwifery training on normal birth and is a guest lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University, UK, in parent education. She is a hypnobirth trainer and co-founder of Hypnobirth Midwives UK which delivers in-house hypnobirth training for midwives at hospital trusts across the UK. Teri has spoken at conferences both in the UK and abroad on hypnobirth and the future of parent education in the NHS. Sandra Handford is a member of the British Institute of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy and is registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). She is a co-founder of Hypnobirth Midwives UK and teaches Hypnosis for Hypnobirthing in-house to midwives in hospital trusts across the country.
