Terri Maue has been in love with words for as long as she can remember. Even today, she's still awed by the fact that little black marks on a sheet of paper have the power to fill her mind with images, ideas, and emotions. Many of Terri's interests find their way into her stories. She holds a first-degree black belt in TaeKwon Do, much to her surprise, as she dislikes violence and never expected to enjoy kicking, punching, and breaking bricks. She is intrigued by psychic phenomena and all forms of spirituality, believing that everyone has access to realms beyond the physical and can enter altered states of consciousness-without drugs. Like her protagonist, she loves food, especially pastry. Fortunately, her husband, Eddie, is a good cook.Terri is a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, and several local writers groups. She and Eddie are Ohio transplants who now live in Las Vegas, Nevada.
