The quality evaluation of the pharmaceutical products in every step of the production process is very important to ensure product quality, safety, efficacy, and bioavailability. The purpose of this research work was to assess the physico-chemical quality of four brands of paracetamol tablets by using official test parameters. About four brands paracetamol 500mg tablets were collected from local drug market in Greater Noida and the tablets were analyzed by different official quality control evaluation parameters such as weight uniformity test, thickness, hardness, friability, disintegration, drug release test, and drug content assay by using modern analytic techniques UV spectrophotometer as per IP specification limit. Based on the result of this study, all the selected brands were passed hardness, thickness, diameter, weight uniformity test and comply with the IP specification limit.
