Road traffic accidents are the serious causes of death and disability globally with high number occurring in developing countries. The aim of this study is to investigate black spots of road traffic accident related issue in the Oromia special zone surrounding Addis Ababa in the case of Dukem, Sebeta and Burayu towns high way from 2008/09-2014/15. The essential secondary data for the study was collected from the daily road traffic accidents format of the three town traffic office. The location of black spots was specified using Google Earth and the geospatial data of three towns added to geographic information system. The primary data was analyzed by statistical package for the social sciences. In conclusion, the frequency of occurrence of road traffic accident and a number of causalities is increased from time to time and the towns are losing a lot of financial cost due to road traffic accidents. So that, the road users must take care of road traffic accidents. The road facilitydesign should be developed and the community and stakeholders should regularly participate in road safety management.
