Autorenporträt
Thelma T. Reyna is the national award winner of multiple literary honors in both short fiction and poetry. She has authored 4 books: a short story collection ("The Heavens Weep for Us and Other Stories"); 2 poetry chapbooks ("Breath & Bone"; and "Hearts in Common"); and a full-length poetry book ("Rising, Falling, All of Us"). She is the editor of two books: "The Altadena Poetry Review: Anthology 2015"; and the 2016 "Altadena Poetry Review Anthology". Her fiction, poetry, and nonfiction have been published in textbooks, anthologies, literary journals, blogs, and regional media for over 25 years. She holds a Ph.D. from UCLA and served as Poet Laureate in Altadena, CA from 2014-2016. Dr. Reyna was recently featured in a chapter of the book, "Latina Authors and Their Muses," edited by Mayra Calvani (2016).
