The book deals with the Muslim Women Organizations promoting peace and community development works in Lanao Del Sur. This thesis works is divided into four parts. In the first part, brief description of Lanao Del Sur is described according to geographical location, brief history, population growth, and ethnic groupings. Prof. Theresa Mae Eroy is an alumni of University of the Philippines - Diliman (MA in Islamic Studies) and Mindanao State University Iligan Institute of Technology (BA in History). Her research interests deals on women, peace studies, and socio - cultural history of Asia. Currently, she is an associate professor in The University of Mindanao.
