Like the first volume on the Old Testament the author integrates the literary sense with the historical, religious, and theological in an attempt to highlight the meaning of the Gospels for serious Christians of all denominations. Dr Thomas Lane has taught Scripture and Theology for over thirty years. He has taught at Penn State University-Altoona, Mt Aloysius College, and St Francis (PA), Northeastern Christian College, and at the high school level. His ecumenical spirit over a forty year period has led him to work with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the United Church of Christ, and the Roman Catholic Church. He has both the PhD and the DMin with specialties in Biblical Studies abd Comparative Theology.
