Autorenporträt
Born in 1951, Tom has lived and worked in London all his life. He is married to Carol with whom he has two children. He also has three grandchildren. He has had a wide range of jobs, such as being a milkman, teaching people to ride in the family stables business, and driving a Class 1 HGV. He¿s also been a debt collector and a shop manager. He has travelled to numerous countries, including Australia, New Zealand, America, Spain, Tunisia and more. This is his first book, which he initially began writing in 2005, but long hours in his lorry meant it was completed at the end of 2023. Over the last seven years he has had cancer, a silent heart attack and a mini stroke. These incidents have served to make him more determined than ever to pen his footballing memoirs. Tom has already planned his next book, Football, Thank God for Mohamed: Extra Time, which tells of a three-week football bonanza he enjoyed at the Africa Cup of Nations in 2004.
