Bill Twomey is one of the most well-known Bronx historians. He began writing the history of the borough for the Bronx Times Reporter in 1983 and is the author of Arcadia Publishing's Throggs Neck-Pelham Bay, East Bronx, and South Bronx. Thomas X. Casey, a Riverdale resident, is also a frequent Bronx history lecturer and has the largest collection of Bronx postcards with more than 5,000 unique images.
