The authors are all members of the IBM Rational team. They are in various development and consulting teams of IBM Rational products, including application development tools, deployment and publishing tools, documentation, J2EE technology, profiling and logging tools, Web Service tools and Visual Editor for Java. They have extensive hands-on experience with IBM Rational Application Developer and its predecessor, WebSphere(R) Studio Application Developer. Together, they have over 100 years of experience at IBM in three different countries and hold dozens of patents.
