Every frame meticulously details her charms, from the curving outstretched branches of her live oaks to her luminous sunrises and the gracious lines of her stately antebellum homes. In words too, Isbell shares his favorite stories of the place he cherishes. This book will draw new admirers and remind those of us fortunate to grow up there why the Coast will always draw us back into her embrace." --Kathleen Koch, former longtime CNN correspondent and author of Rising from Katrina: How My Mississippi Hometown Lost It All and Found What Mattered University Press of Mississippi www.upress.state.ms.us ISBN 978-1-4968-1897-3 barcode 90000 price code without price Photographs by Timothy T.
