Autorenporträt
Tina L. Prusiewicz is a new author. This is her first published book. She was born in Teaneck, New Jersey, and graduated from Immaculata University with a degree in sociology and education. After teaching for a couple of years, she decided to continue her education and study for her master's degree in learning disabilities. She continued to teach various grades-first, third, and fourth. During her studies at Montclair State University, she taught school for about ten years. Tina and her husband, Rich, raised four children. They are now enjoying eight grandchildren. Tina became more serious about writing a children's book while her young grandchildren were growing. She gave it a try during the COVID-19 pandemic. The story of Little Squirrel actually happened to Tina herself. While awaiting help, all she could do was jot down a few story ideas to stay calm and not get caught up in all the excitement. Besides working on her first book, Tina enjoys golf, tennis, traveling, reading, painting, gardening, cooking, and working out. One of the good things COVID-19 brought Tina was a deeper interest in her passions.
