Triveni Goswami Vernal, a Research Associate at Yugantar, Hyderabad and a Doctoral Student at Gauhati University, Assam is a Rotary Fellow (2008) and a recipient of the prestigious UNESCO/Suzanne Mubarak/Japan-Egypt Friendship Fellowship (2006 Cycle). She has authored books on gender and conflict transformation, women rebels and peace education.
